(Video Blog) Our Tour of the Patriots and Paws Warehouse
Recently, the JAM Properties team visited the Patriots and Paws Warehouse in Anaheim, CA. We briefly wrote about our experience in a past blog post. As a residential redevelopment company, we value those who are making our local communities a better place. Patriots and Paws, a 501-(c)(3) Charitable Organization that provides basic home furnishings to local Veterans/Active Military/Reservists, does just that.
Patriots and Paws collects household items and furniture from the community and distributes those items for free to local veterans, active military, and reservists in need. Additionally, for any Veteran or Military Service person that is interested, Patriots and Paws will match them up with a rescued companionship animal. Resources and support are also provided to guide them as they transition into civilian life.
Ways to Help
Donating household items to Patriots and Paws is an easy and rewardable experience. For a list of what they do and do not accept, click Here. A free pick-up service is offered 3 days a week, or drop-offs can be made on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays. Patriots and Paws is also an ALL-Volunteer organization. You will see many of them hard at work in the video below. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and a big help to many. Our Tour
On our tour of the Patriots and Paws Warehouse, we got to see firsthand the dedication, passion, and commitment of each and every member and volunteer. We met Penny, the Founder, who showed us around the warehouse and gave us an up-close look at what they do. We also witnessed veterans receiving a truckload of items for free. The gratitude on their faces was evident.
As we left the warehouse, we were filled with a sense of encouragement and hope as we saw volunteers and members of the community come together to help those in need. We hope that you will watch the brief video of our tour below and support Patriots and Paws in whatever way that you are able.
